Then click on "Listen Online." Next, click on the sermon title you want to hear. Within the next month, I plan on including two sermons in English only for you to hear. The sermon titles are "The Man Who Preached Christ's Funeral" and "You're SomeOne Special." These sermons have been called classic sermons. If you want to know who preached Christ's funeral, you'll have to listen to that sermon. Be checking every so often to see if it is there. INTERNET RADIO MINISTRY TO START

I WILL BE PREACHING THROUGHOUT JAPAN (AND THE WORLD) VIA INTERNET RADIO
Starting November 1st, 2009, I will be preaching on Internet Radio. I will be preaching in Japanese mostly, but will interject some English. When I know the exact time and where to listen, I will write another blog. I am very excited about this new DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY the Lord has opened to me. I use to dream about preaching on the radio world-wide, but I figured it was a pipe-dream. However, with God all things are possible. It appears that I will be reaching more people now than I ever did during those 25 years we lived in Japan. As a missionary I am dependent on the support of churches and individuals who are led to help. "NO MORE TEARS"

During the month of July, 2009, an average of two books a day were requested and received. People from California to Pennsylvania have thanked me for writing "No More Tears." No one knows what a person experiences when one's spouse dies except someone who has actually gone through this deepest valley of life. "No More Tears" is written from experience. The subjects covered have been experienced first-hand. This book renders encouragement and comfort to those who are going through this long valley of life. NO MORE TEARS

The 2nd addition of my book is now ready to send to anyone who would like one. During the past 4 days, I have received orders for 49 books. I have written the book with the purpose of helping and encouraging those who have lost a spouse. I am told that the book also has been an encouragement to those who have lost some close friend or relative. Many who received a copy of the first addition are ordering more to give to their friends. Churches and organizations have been ordering a number of books to have on hand to give to those who are sorrowing over the lost of their spouse. The Integrity Home Care of Missouri just ordered 30 books to give to those they deal with every day. Some of the titles in the book are: There Is Hope, When It First Happens, The "Why" Question, In Light of Rom. 8:28, What Good Can Come Out Of My Loss?, Is It Okay to Grieve? Tears, Christmas Alone, Accepting What Really Happened, It Happened So Suddenly, and a new article included in this second addition that was not in the first one is a article on Suicide. A new section has been added on How to Start and Operate a Precious Memories Support Ministry. I am urging churches all over the world to start such a ministry in their churhes. This ministry was born out of experience. The book is written from experience. My dear wife Dixie went to be with her Lord on Feb. 4, 2005. I don't have to say like so many, "I can't imagine." FROM A 600 MPH JET TO A JINRIKISHA

I never dreamed, nor was it in my plans to ride a jinrikisha, but while in Tokyo Pastor Hiroshi Saito talked me into it. I guess the Japanese don't often see an American riding down the streets of Tokyo on a jinrikisha. People were taking my picture and waving to me. Although that was an enjoyable side light, that was not the purpose of my trip to Japan. Our son Jim was with me the first two weeks of this trip. The Japanese are still talking about his testimony. Jim had a wonderful testimony as a layman. I was sure proud of him. Although Jim was born and raised in Japan, he had not been back to Japan in 31 years. It was surprising how he was able to speak in Japanese. All in all, I preached 26 times. Believe me, I was on the go all the time. The schedule was changed 3 times. They had to figure out where I was to be, how to get there and who would help me get there. In Japan, they drive on the left side of the road and the streering wheel is on the right side of the car. They didn't want us to drive and I don't blame them. I would no doubt wind up on the wrong side of the road after I turn. One high light of the trip was when I personally led a lady to the Lord. I sure enjoy seeing people get saved, but it is sure a thrill to personally lead a person to the Lord. I sure enjoyed being in the churches we started many years ago. I got to see some that got saved when we were there as missionaries. I actually cried on the plane coming back home. I was asked by missionaries and pastors to stay. I wish I could, but the Lord has given me 4 wonderful ministries here in Springfield, Missouri. There is the Japanese Church service where I preach each Sunday, the Precious Memories Support Ministry that I started for the purpose of helping and encouraging those who have lost a spouse, the SOS Soulwinning Ministry with the purpose of winning souls and teaching people how to win souls and the KWFC Radio Ministry. As you can see, I am kept busy for our Lord. Your prayers and financial support for these ministries is greatly appreciated. I will write another Blog to let you know about my book, "No More Tears." 'NO MORE TEARS" BOOK NOW IN 2ND PRINTING

Praise the Lord, my book has been sent from the Publisher to the Printer. I expect to have them by the first part of September. I have only 3 copies of the first printing left. The 2nd printing will be a larger book with added pages on the subject of suicide and an attendix with instructions for starting and operating a Precious Memories Support Ministry. The cover also has changed. The Publisher suggested we change the title from "And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears" to "No More Tears." After much prayer, I decided that the shorter title will be an attention-getter. The book has already been a blessing to many who have lost a spouse. Although it is written especially for those who have lost a spouse, some have told me of the help and comfort they have received from the book following the home-going of some other close relative or friend.

The Publisher has plans to get the book in book stores across the country. You will be able to order the books via the internet as well as directly from me. I am excited about this 2nd printing. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of "No More Tears," please contact me.

LADY ABORTS SUICIDE AFTER READING MY BOOK

The Greenlawn Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri called me about a lady who's mother had died. The daughter was there and told them that she was going to drive her car into a semi-truck because life wasn't worth living. I was not immediately available, so they gave her a copy of my book "And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears." She started reading that and decided to put off suicide until she could talk to me. I was able to point her to the God of all Comfort and she is now doing well. The publisher is thrilled with the book and has great plans for it. He wants to get it in book stores all across America. We at first thought we could get 1000 copies for $3000.00, but due to price increases, it is going to cost $4000.00. Presently I am lacking $849.00. I have only 7 books left from the first printing. HERE'S WISHING YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2007 was a great year filled with many blessings. On my birthday, Dec. 14th, 2007, I became 77. I am as busy today as I was back in 1956 when Dixie and I became full-time missionaries in Japan. However, I must keep reminding myself that I am not as young as I once was. You may be wondering who that is in the picture. That's me when I was 17 or 18. I am excited about what has been accomplished in 2007, but I look forward to advancing the cause of Christ in 2008. Let me give you a report on my ministries up to date.

THE SOS SOULWINNING MINISTRY

In addition to the many souls that have been saved around the world in 2007, a new greatly improved SOS web-site has been made. You can view it at www.soshelp.com. We have been trying to get people and organizations to use the SOS new slogan "When you care enough, you're SomeOne Special. This is one of SOS's registered trademarks. The SOS web-site has many helps for soulwinners along with some soulwinning sermons by the late Hyman J. Appelman.

THE JAPANESE MINISTRY

The Japanese Ministry is my "first-love" as far as ministries are concerned. God called me as a missionary to Japan when I served in the U.S. Air Force during the world war II Army of Occupation and during the Korean War. Dixie and I served for 25 years on the field of Japan. Although I am retired (I use the word "retired" lightly) as far as being in Japan full-time, my Japanese ministry continues here in Springfield, Missouri. We meet for a church service every Sunday. We are finding out that there is a great number of Japanese in this area. Churches who desire to have a part in this ministry as well as my other ministries may send their support the the Baptist Bible Fellowship International.

THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES SUPPORT MINISTRY

Following the home-going of my wonderful wife Dixie, the Lord has led me to start a new ministry with the intention of encouraging and comforting those who have lost a spouse. We meet once a month for a time of fellowship around a dinner table. Those who desire give their testimony as to how they are doing since their loved one has gone to heaven. This encourages those who have just entered this valley of life. Recently I have written a book entitled, "And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears." I am amazed at the reception of this book. Those who have ordered copies are wanting more. The book has one-page articles dealing with the various experiences a person goes through when their spouse is gone. Already I am needing to do a second printing. The cost will be over $2,600.00. All gifts received for this purpose goes into an account just for this purpose. I have heard of 11 states and 4 foreign countries where Precious Memories Support Ministries have started. To God be the Glory!

THE RADIO MINISTRY

I am on radio station KWFC (Keep Witnessing For Christ), a 100,000 watt station with radio announcements about the above ministries every day, two or more times. People have come to the Precious Memories meetings and the Japanese church service as direct result of the radio ministry.

I thank you who have had a part in these ministries through you prayers and financial offerings. I am expecting "Something Great in 2008."

This book was written from personal experience as well as the experiences gained from others who attend the Precious Memories Support Ministry in Springfield, Missouri. Each page in the book contains one subject. PRECIOUS MEMORIES BOOK NOW IN THE HANDS OF PUBLISHER

My book "And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears" is now in the hands of the publisher. It's not a big book, (just 70 pages) but I believe it tackles most all questions and deals with all situations concerning the lost of one's life mate. Articles such as "The Why Question," "Will We Know Each Other in Heaven?," "Tears," and many other subjects aimed at encouragement and comfort are included in this book. I have written this book from personal experience as well as the experiences of others who attend the Springfield, Missouri Precious Memories Support Ministry's monthly meetings. I am praying that many people will avail themselves of this important book. If you would like to have this book, please let me know. I personally would like to give them away, but I have in mind to do a second printing and that will cost money. I will no doubt give away a lot anyway. I also am praying that many Precious Memories Support Ministry chapters will be started in other states and foreign countries. I have a handbook I can send you if you are interested in starting one in your church or city. I can send you a sample brochure that you can copy and personalize for your ministry. GRANDSON KILLED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT

On May 7th my grandson (Paul Hathaway's second son Mark) was killed when his pickup didn't make a curve. Needless to say, Paul and Sandy along with their other two sons David and Jonathan, (and myself) experienced another of our family leaving this earth for the glories of heaven. I am sure that my wife Dixie was surprised to see him enter heaven's gates. Please pray for Paul's family.

My knee was operated on April 24th. I am still recovering from this operation. I hope to be able to drive again real soon. I am too busy to have to stay in my apartment with my knee propped up with ice on it, but that's what I must do, like it or not.

My book, "And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears" is completed and presently being proof-read. I truly believe that the Lord led me to start the Precious Memories Support Ministry and has lead me in writing this book. I believe it will be a blessing and will bring comfort to those who have lost a spouse. Actually much of the book can apply to those who have lost anyone close to them. I believe I've found a publisher, but I ask for your prayers that the Lord will lead in the selection of a publisher and that it won't cost "an arm and a leg."

Following my dear wife Dixie's leaving this earth and entering into the presence of the Lord, I felt the strong leading of the Holy Spirit to start the Precious Memories Support Ministry for those who have lost a spouse. I now have a brochure which is given to those who are experiencing this valley of life. In addition I have a handbook which tells how to start a Precious Memories Support Ministry in churches. These two items are available for download from my website free of charge.
I am now writing a book which I believe I will use as the title, "AND GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS." As of today, April 10th, I have 50 pages written. I believe this book will be a blessing and a comfort to many people. It contains one-page articles on all subjects I feel will help and comfort those who know what sorrow is all about. I ask for your prayers as I write this book. Many of these articles come pretty close to home and bring back many Precious Memories. Part of the book will give suggestions to people who want to encourage someone who has lost a spouse. It tells a person what to say and what to do to help. It would be nice if you would let me know that you are praying for me as I write this very needed book.

MY FIRST POST

This being he day before Easter,

I want let you know that my prayers are with you. I pray that there will be souls saved today in your respective churches. Without a doubt, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave is the greatest day in world history. I'm not sure if more people attend church on Easter Sunday or at Christmas time, but I believe we ought to take advantage of Easter and make the gospel message clear, plain and emphatic. Being that this is my new blog which I call Bill's Blog, I doubt many will see this, but if you do, it would be great to hear about your Easter services. And remember this . . .
